Lump of Coal is a bastille soap bar formulated with activated charcoal. Contains cinnamon and eucalyptus essential oils – and the combination creates an amazing holiday aroma. A fan favourite, we try to offer this limited edition soap all year round.
Perfectly festive, Lump of Coal was originally made as a holiday soap for everyone on the naughty list. It makes a great stocking stuffer!
Not only does the addition of activated charcoal create the black pigment of this soap, activated charcoal also absorbs toxins and removes skin impurities and excessive oils on and below the skin. This soap is best for oily skin because of its fantastic ability to draw out oil and dirt from pores. If you have very dry skin this soap might be a little too drying.
Please note, cinnamon essential oil is a potential skin irritant and cause adverse reactions, especially for those who have sensitive skin.
External use only. Do not consume.

Caring for your handmade soap:
Handmade soaps naturally have a high glycerin content, which is great for your skin – but it also means the soap requires a place to dry out between uses. The glycerin attracts water and if left in standing water, the soap will break down quickly. To prolong the lifespan of your soap, do not allow it to sit in a dish or container that is bowl-shaped, or that allows water to pool in the bottom. Instead, be sure to store your soap in a dry place out of the stream of water and on a draining soap dish. Allowing the soap to dry between use will extend the life span of the bar.
olea europaea (olive) oil, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, elaeis guineensis (palm) oil, ricinus communis (castor) oil, activated charcoal, cinnamomum burmanni (cinnamon) bark oil, eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) oil.
